I
don’t like preaching, but so many political people are reacting foolishly to 2nd
hand smoke. It only takes a little research on the internet to figure out that
banning smoking will have no measurable effect on the crap that we breath every
day.
One
car runing for 30 minutes creates as much carbon monoxide as smoking 3 packs a
day for 100 years. Carbon monoxide last for months in the air.
If
you really want to protect your children and if you really are concerned for
workers in 2nd hand smoke, change what you drive and how you drive.
That will do thousands of times more for what you breath than a smoking ban.
Auto’s
produce many cancer causing pollutants at a much greater rate than cigarettes.
I
guess most people feel like they are doing good by trying to pass smoking bans,
but they are just following a bunch of “chicken little idiots”. (IMHO)
