Well I danced with a widow and I danced with her daughter

And I danced with a woman that I know’d I ought not’r

I danced with every woman I could see.

So when I came home my clothes were in the streeet

My key didn’t fit the lock, she didn’t skip a beat

My tv’s in the trash, my guitars laying broken in the lawn.

Well I went to a party and the music kept’a playing

So I drank a little beer ‘til I lost what I was saying

And pretty soon I was laying on the floor

So I thought to myself this party needs more women

So I jumped in my car and I drove off a grinnin’

In the morning I was staring thru the jailhouse door

Chasing women on the beach chasing women in the ocean

And when I catch those women I spread a little lotion

I love to spread that lotion up and down

So she sent me a letter said she didn’t even miss me

Just sign on the line and never come back round

Well I went to a party and I caught with a dancer

And we made a little love and I thought, “well there’s the answer”

“I think I’ll spread that love all around”.

But the dancer wasn’t having that and neither was her sister,

They both got together, said “wait a minute Mr”

“You look a little silly standing there, wearing nothing, like a clown”

So now I’ve learned my lesson, with women don’t go messing

And when it come to parties your better off expressing

An attitude of “oh no, not me”

So you go to your job and you bring home your pay

And you kiss a little ass so you can stay another day

And when your life is over you can say
